Following is some general information that you should know:

Registration—please complete the registration forms found in the building lobby, also available on the RP website.

Parking—all spaces are numbered; please only park in the space corresponding to your unit or in a guest spot.

Trash—trash pickup is on Tuesday. Please DO NOT use the trash chutes in the hallways on Tuesday, please carry your trash downstairs on that day.

Recycle—Yes, we do! Recycling bins are in the trash rooms (double doors near the main entry).

Shuffle board Courts— Shuffle board courts are available to all owners, renters and guests. Equipment is stored in the Building 8 trash room. Please return all equipment when finished.

Ping-Pong Equipment – Royal Pelican has a ping-pong table and equipment in the Club House. Please adhere to the instructions for the care and use of this equipment.

Gas Grills – Royal Pelican provides community gas grills for owner and lessee use, located on the patio behind building 9, next to the shuffleboard court, and between buildings 5 and 6.

Each grill has 2 tanks, a cover and a full set of utensils. Please clean up after use, and don’t forget to cover the grill after it has cooled down.

Pool rest rooms—these are in the garage area of building 8 or in the clubhouse.

Cable TV—each condo has basic Comcast. Internet access and expanded services are up to the condo owner.

Pools—there are 2 pools at Royal Pelican and you may use either. They are heated during the season and will be covered at night when the weather dictates. During the season they can be accessed by a magnetic opener, but during the summer they will be locked, and you will need a key for entry. The key is the same key that opens the restrooms under building 8.

Beach access—it’s across Estero Blvd and is marked as EBIA access. PLEASE only cross at the crosswalk and activate the signal lights before crossing.

Street crossing—Although Florida Law says that traffic must stop for pedestrians in crosswalks, not everyone does, so please make sure traffic is stopped before crossing. Traffic does not have to stop for pedestrians not in crosswalks.

Rule and regulations—We have a complete set. You should have been given one by your unit owner or manager if you’re a tenant. However, they can also be found posted in the clubhouse, on the front page of our website (Condo Documents), and a brief review of some of them are posted in the elevators.

Internal traffic—Please note the directional arrows. Speed limit is 5 MPH and there are speed bumps. Remember that we have lots of walking and bicycle traffic within the complex. Please DO NOT drive under the buildings (except your own, of course).

Access codes—Please see your building representative, any board member, or Steve (maintenance) for access codes to your building and the clubhouse. If you’re a tenant, your unit owner or manager has the codes.

EBIA—Royal Pelican is a member of the Estero Bay Improvement Association. Each unit owner has a key to the EBIA tennis courts (located on the north side of Lenell St (north of Santini Marina Shopping Center) and the Fishing Pier (located in the waterside complex). For the fishing pier you must show your pier to the guard at the gate. The Beach Access does not require a key.
